Students will have access to many professional decks including: the D5, HDCam SR, Digital Betacam & more as well as mixers and other hardware. Students are provided with a CD containing PDF manuals of all professional decks used in class and in a real world setting of post production.
- Setting up decks to digitize footage.
- Troubleshooting various possible problems.
- Understanding Avid and Final Cut Pro workflows.
Who Should Attend
Assistant Editors, Editors, Post Production Supervisors, and anyone else interested in learning how decks and other post hardware are used in a professional setting.
MC101, MC110, or equivalent experience. Also, MC201 & AA101 are recommended but not absolutely necessary.
Moviola Digital Arts Institute reserves the right to cancel any course at anytime for any reason, however, cancellations are usually made no less than 72 hours prior to the course start date. In the event of a cancellation by Moviola Digital Arts Institute, students have the option of being rescheduled for another course date or receiving a full refund.
Students may cancel their enrollment in any course by providing notice to the Moviola Digital Arts Institute no less than 72 hours prior to the start time of the class. Any cancellation received less than 72 hours prior to the start time of the class will result in the student being charged a $150 late cancellation fee. "No-shows" will be charged the full published rate for the course and will receive no refund for any payments already made.
