Hue Saturation Luminance

Overview

In a hue, saturation and lightness model of color, hue determines the essence of a color, and is typically represented as an angle around a color wheel. Saturation determines its intensity, with less saturated colors tending toward gray. It is represented by the distance of the color from the center of the color wheel. Lightness determines how bright the color is and is usually represented as a separate bar from dark to light.
