This is a vintage compact that was mixed in with a bunch of jewelry I received from my late aunt in the 90s. I know nothing about the compact or the history. I have no idea what it's made of and I can't seem to find any markings. I will say that I don't believe it's complete it may have had some type of inside lining but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure if it had a little latch for opening but it does open and close properly and locks properly. To me the most beautiful part is the little floral inlay on the top. I wish I knew what it was made of but it is absolutely beautiful. Feel free to ask any questions. thanks
