Possibly one of the most rare finds I've come across!
Token itself is not completely rare, but is a tougher find for sure. But if you look at the pictures, this one has a very pronounced mint error cud on the reverse right edge toward the rim.
Very difficult to find reliable information about this particular token. My consensus from my research is as follows...
I believe this to be zinc composition because of the tarnishing especially on the obverse as well as the weight and the opinions of several sources which said there were both copper and zinc variations to this year and design.
Most sources stated this was from New York, New York. A couple said Indiana, but the more reliable sources said New York.
I believe it to be very nice F/VF details, but please see pictures and make your own judgments as best you can.
