This vintage serving bowl/dish is a remarkable piece with a rich history. Produced by Bas-Sons, a prominent Bavarian porcelain manufacturer, this bowl dates back to the late 19th to early 20th century, likely between the years 1890 and the 1920s. Unfortunately, due to the impacts of World War I and the destruction of records during World War II, the exact fate of the company remains elusive. Nevertheless, this serving bowl showcases the Bavarian craftsmanship and artistry that the region is renowned for.
The bowl features an exquisite bird of paradise design adorned with delicate flowers. Both handles are embellished with elegant gold trim. With an oval shape and dimensions of approximately 9.5 in width, 7 in depth, and 3 in height, it is a perfect size for serving and displaying culinary delights.
Condition: This vintage serving bowl is in very good condition, exhibiting no cracks or chips. It has been well-preserved over the years.
