Outstanding carving by a renowned master carver. Vintage 1969 Hand Carved E.F. Muehlmatt Gold Finch mounted on a drift wood log. Mr. Muehlmatt is widely recognized and has his work in multiple museums. Signed on the bottom. This is one of his earlier works before he became incredibly popular. The piece measures 5.25 x 3.25 x 3 . At somepoint someone must've dropped it and broke the tail. It has been repaired as you can see. It could be covered up better with a little tlc. Overall an outstanding piece.
