Beautifully crafted vintage icon from Greece made with solid silver on wood. Handmade with a painted background featuring the face of the Madonna and the face of the baby Jesus.
This hagiography is an exact copy of Byzantine art and measures about 6.5” x 8”. It is signed in the front and certified in the back and is in very nice vintage condition.
Blessed by monks at the Mt Athos monastery in Greece- also known as “the garden of the Virgin Mary”.
