This is five sets of salt & pepper shakers with a western theme. #1) Hand painted cacti with cork stoppers, marked, ''Japan''. Height: 1 5/8 in. #2) A 3-piece set of hand painted mules on a 'grassy' base. They have cork stoppers and are marked, ''Japan''. One mule has a repaired ear. Length: 4 in.; height: 2¾ in. #3) 'Rope'-handled souvenir shakers embossed ''WYOMING'', with highly embossed steer heads and bronco riders on each. They have cork stoppers and are marked, ''Made in Japan''. They also have their original foil stickers which read, ''Golden Aspen by THRIFCO /Japan''. Height: 2½ in. #4) Hand painted Native American children with tomahawks. Painted golden brown with purple accents. Unmarked. Height: 3¾ in. Some of the paint is chipping off one of the shakers, mostly in the back. #5) Plastic shakers with Native American glyph cut-outs in the original packaging.
