Circa 1890s/1900 Otto Huber Brewery Goldenrod Beer
1/2 Liter Stein, Brooklyn, New York C 1890/1900 stoneware beer stein. Marked 1/2L and measuring 5 1/2 tall to top of stein and app. 7 to top of finial. The pewter top is advertising Otto Huber Brewery in NY. They were known for Goldenrod Beer and that is depicted on the front. The lid was made by Martin Pauson in Munich Germany, it has a shield with stars/ stripes,hops,vines,grain,oak/acorn in relief. Very detailed and very beautiful.
