Vintage Pyrex Primary Colors Mixing Bowls - No model numbers stamped, first issue colors. bottoms stamped 'T.M. REG PYREX - U.S. PAT. OFF'.
Research of the bottom stampings identify these to be the early issue 1940s era bowls using the original color shades and thicker material that were changed in the early 50's.
Colors are bright and excellent without chips or scratches. The white interior looks great too with minimum mixing marks. The only blemish I see is some light irregularities on the rim of the red bowl. Zoom in on the pics to see. On the bottoms, there is leftover newspaper stuck on them (the brown specs). The newspaper these were wrapped in was dated 1968. This should all remove easily with a short soak.
Although not numbered, these correlate with the 404 yellow, 403 green, 402 red, 401 blue
