Book titled Bottle Tickets by Jane Stancliffe, published by the Victoria & Albert Museum, alongside three antique silver bottle tickets, all labeled Sherry. Bottle tickets, also known as wine or decanter labels, were used from the 18th century onward to identify the contents of wine bottles or decanters, especially after the original labels were removed. These small, decorative tags were typically made of silver, enamel, or ivory and hung around the neck of the bottle or decanter using a chain. The book provides a history or catalog of various bottle tickets, while the silver tags are examples of the artifacts themselves. Some of the silver tickets are in the book.

The tickets are in great condition for age. The book has some marks on the cover that look like watermarks but it seems fine inside and pages don’t seem like they have water damage.
