A beautiful pair of vintage baoding massage balls, inlaid with brass and in their original silk storage case. Baoding balls have been used by the Chinese for centuries and are made of many different materials (stone, jade, metal, semi-precious stones, wood, etc.) some are hollow with a chime inside (like these), others are solid and heavy. They have been used to massage the hands, to relieve stress, to promote overall well-being among many other great benefits for body and soul.
The balls are in great condition with a few marks from use over the years. The silk storage box has fraying at the corners and the box is a bit battered.
Made in China sticker on box and the original insert is included.
