Shazam 17 is a giant-size 100 page issue of the first Shazam series by DC. This was the series that re-launched Shazam after DC acquired the property from Fawcett. Fawcett had previously called him Captain Marvel, but had failed to properly maintain the trademark allowing Marvel Comics to take the name for their own cosmic character. This issue features multiple stories of Shazam and the Shazam family!
This is graded as NM- or better. The book is gorgeous throughout, with one tiny color break on the lower corner of the front cover. No noticeable color breaks anywhere else on this 49 year old book. All pages are intact, spine is tight, and the color and gloss are perfect. It's looks like it was picked up from the newsstand today!
