GOUDA Up for sell is a Vintage Toeback Jar..The bottom of the Jar has Polychroom ZENITH-GOUDA…A 1749 …Made in Holland 2159..The Lid has some tarnish on it, other than that this is a very nice piece...A fantastic Humidor from Holland. This piece is marked on the bottom with the information in the title. It is 8 1/2 to the top of the lid. It is 4 1/2 across the bottom. Marked Gouda, one of the premiere makers of Holland Porcelain. It has a beautiful delft type pattern around the TOEBACK and is very colorful with yellow, orange, blue and green. It is trimmed with a little rust color. Just stunning. The lid has the original patina and the sponge for humidity. It also has the sponge around the rim of the container. It is in very nice condition for a piece this age. A great piece for any collector. It is 21 around at the widest part of the container. It does contain some crazing as you can see it the last few pics. Rare find.
