Official NPG store merchandise from the early 1990s.
The Tamboracca is a hand held percussion instrument, a combination of a tambourine and maraca, created and developed by Prince Rogers Nelson in 1992. The Tamboracca consists of a 10 tubular yellow plastic hexagon with tiny beads that rattle inside the instrument. It is decorated with his original O(+> glyph symbol in the center. This is not the newer version sold at Paisley Park.
