Vintage Barbara Field by Joyce of Chicago Velvet Black A-Line Skirt XS
This skirt is true, one-owner, treasure! Straight from my 86 year old mother’s cedar chest, or closet, I’m not sure which. I’m guessing this is late 1950s or early 1960s, which fits the timeframe of her graduating from college and starting her teaching career.
No fabric label but it feels like velvet, has a slight nap to the fabric. Two side buttons on the waistband and a side zipper. See photo for approximate waist measurement and length. Skirt flares out from the hips in a true A-line style. No size tag. Skirt is unlined.
