This is a very UNIQUE, RARE heavy sculpture of Black Onyx, Obsidian Stone - Mayan, or Aztec God in the crouching position. BEAUTIFULLY polished! Weighs 5 lbs+. Very large, hand carved warrior statue in EXCELLENT, used condition! Believed to be vintage from 1960's. Does have minor scratches on back, & 1 small chip on the front left of head dress (As shown)
This sculpture is made of a black obsidian referred to as Gold Sheen. This is because in direct sunlight at a certain angle, it appears golden. HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE & holds mystical properties.
