A porcelain bud vase depicting Bacchus, the Roman god of wine, with a cherubic figure beside him. Bacchus is adorned with grape leaves and grapes, holding a drinking horn, while the cherub figure holds a jug. The figurine is hand-painted with soft colors and stands on a base with pinkish hues.
The Occupied Japan mark indicates that the piece was created during the period between 1945 and 1952 after World War II. It is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 7 inches tall, 3inches wide and deep
