Nice set 2 pieces. I am not sure if this is meant to be southwestern native influenced, or african influenced. Figures are made of I believe a plastic type clay/dough and decorated/embellised with metallic and flat paint. The human type figure appears to have beads as well as some tiny metal pieces including a tiny butterfly. The horse has a bead eye, and what looks like fur on the head and tail. The figure kind of resembles a witch doctor, with an oval mouth.
Estate sale item, I unfortunately dont know more about this great pair.
Condition: Nice gently used, minor scratches on pieces - as are art do not want to touch, please see all photos
