This stunning unframed batik art painting is a beautiful piece by the late Mendocino, CA artist Dorthea Ridenour. Estimated to have been designed and executed in the 70s-80s. It has been framed under glass for years (frame broke) and is in excellent condition. This will give you the opportunity to frame it with a complimentary frame that will showcase it's vibrant colors and abstract floral pattern.
Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the whole cloth.
