this is one of those treasures that I never thought I'd see myself parting with...unless my situation called for such.. long story short, I'm in a place where it only makes sense to me to part with this beloved Tara statue so here she is .. Heavy, brass & bronze, best known as the tibeton goddess of compassion, mother of liberation. Of all the gods & goddesses, she's always been the one who I've gravitated towards, I really love this particular statue as I think it encapsulates her serene & majestic beauty. This is one of the very few statues left that were brought here by my former boss from tibet over 60 years ago. He recently told me as he was permanently closing the doors to his shop that he sold one of his last ones a year ago for 1,000. Ping pong ball pictured w statue for size reference
