Crafted from high-quality China material, this butter keeper is an original vintage piece from the turn of the Century (best guess). It features a glossy finish and includes three pieces. This collectible item is perfect for collectors and those who appreciate fine craftsmanship.
It has age crazing and one very fine crack on the base, that can only be seen from the bottom. It appears to be an older crack and is sealed well. I have it pictured. Some discoloration in the white can be seen. I did not try any stain removers, this is not my area of expertise and I did not want to cause any damage. This piece was tricky to research, I could only find one other similar piece and it sold back in 1999. The age is my best guess, by referencing the symbol and company. I could be wrong (please feel free to let me know) but it seems like this was most likely produced between 1900 and 1920 by the French China Company in Ohio.
