This is a vintage Cattlemen’s Convention pinback badge featuring a five-point star with a detailed steer’s head in the center, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Finished in gold-tone plating, it is a striking souvenir piece from a historic livestock or ranching event.

Marked on the reverse: Schwaab S. & S. Co., Milwaukee – a well-known maker of custom badges and emblems since the late 1800s.

Good vintage condition with moderate signs of age and wear. The front retains strong detail in the star, steer head, and laurel wreath design. The gold-tone plating shows minor surface wear consistent with age. The pinback clasp is intact and functional, though some finish loss and wear is visible on the back, particularly around the clasp area (see photos). No major dents or structural damage.
