From the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, Alewine Pottery creates these Mini Mixing Spout Bowls in several colors. This one is Signed 2011 & is Earthy Red w Cream-freckled Inside. The red glaze has “crazing” which appear as tiny “cracks” in the glaze. This is just an effect of the glaze and not actual cracks
This 7” x 3” spout bowl or “mini mixing bowl” has all the beauty of a dedicated craftsman. The hand thrown texture, distinctive inner freckled vanilla glaze, as well the crazed edge work, adds to the artistry and craftsmanship. Each piece is a 2-week process.
