Crafted by the renowned Emil Larsen—whose artistic legacy includes work with Tiffany Studios and Quezal Art Glass—this exquisite Amethyst Optic Flask Bottle is a striking example of American decorative glass. Larsen, celebrated for pioneering the Peacock Feather design at Quezal, brought his signature artistry to Durand Art Glass in the late 1920s. There, he reimagined the pattern in captivating hues, including blue, green, ruby, and the rare amethyst tone showcased here. This flask stands approximately 5 3/4 tall. Light scuffing on the base and subtle imperfections speak to the bottle’s age and authenticity—hallmarks of its handmade origin and nearly century-long history. Pontil marks show on bottom of bottle where rod was attached during finishing.
