Unique Hundred Acre empty wine box for 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon - Deep Time. Etched engraving of Invocation of the Muse from Homer’s Odyssey inside lid - W.H.D. Rouse translation (1937). The end of the story behind the lid is not shown but ends in: For they perished by their own madness, because they killed and ate the cattle of Hyperion the Sun-god, and the god took care that they should never see home again . Five star circle on lid and carved handles on side. Nice study artistic wine box with a tale.
As a side note: similar wine box seen in Iron Man movie (see picture). Box similar quality as Caymus or Duckhorn!
