Beautiful Victorian oil painting of two children at Christmas or some holiday. It is unframed but real. It measures 20 inches by 16 inches. The canvas type looks older that the wood frame it is on. I am guessing 1930's. I have not been able to fine out much about the artist E. H. Clark. But whoever it is, they did a great job. I keep thinking it is a study of a famous painting, but I can not place it.
The light shading on the subjects and there flush cheeks are very well done. The flowers are very delicately executed. Will provide more pictures if needed.
