These were owned by my 85-year-old neighbor who was a true cowgirl, she said they're from the 80's. She rode horses in these many times so they show fading in the thighs & sit lines . She's a smoker if you have allergies you might want to pass. I washed many times in vinegar & steamed heavily & they smell mostly like vinegar now. The denim is still very thick & will last many years. No holes or tears
