A finely crafted bracelet from Navajo artist Jerry Cowboy that's suitable for just about anyone. The artist was a benchsmith for Atkinson Trading Company and then a smith for Sunburst Handcrafts Inc., which eventually became Teme', and is now Navajo Arts and Crafts Enterprise and has been with them on and off since 1975. The cleanly struck stamped design is reminiscent of a rug pattern and is flanked by dual feathers. The central band on the shank is flanked by twisted wire and then gold-filled pattern wire. The 5 bands are joined at the terminals and the soldering extends in approximately 1 . The craftsmanship is amazing with such a clean finish. No excess solder, nor are there interior or exterior end caps. Such fine work from a skilled artist. The cuff measures 5 13/15 from end-to-end on the interior plus a gap of 1 1/16 and is 7/8 wide throughout. Marked on the reverse C. Sterling and 12K GF . Weighs 37.7 grams. In excellent vintage condition.
