1930's Babe Ruth bat (Vintage Enamel Uniform pin) Yankees. Very very scarce.. It was told to us that this is the same type of pin worn by players during ceremonial meetings on the field back in the 1930's- and 1940's. The pin is in amazing condition for its age. 90 year old pin. I've never seen another with a Newyork N.Y. which makes it even more desirable. Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and the Murderers Row of 1927 made the Yankees a staple in time. This piece shows the craftsmanship of a long ago time..when fans flocked the fields after the game and players would often gift fans pins and signed baseballs for there adoration and commitment to the game.
