This is a beautiful tea pot. Some call it a coffee pot or even a chocolate pot. Made by Gibsons in England. The gold leaf finish. Classic from the time. And the cold paint decorations of multicolored squares really sets the space in the time. Of the 1960s. Only the slightest wear on the gold. And one of the cold paint squares has a fleck of paint gone. If you have these at home be very careful when cleaning them especially with any solvents as the gold will wear off quite easily. Especially over time. If I am not mistaken this was painted entirely in gold leaf paint and the black is put over top. These are hand painted, with the artists initials on the base
