This is a gorgeous compote bowl made by Royal Bayreuth of Bavaria, Germany. Comes with the matching under plate which is also made in Germany but believed to be a different maker. Both are hand painted with dogwood flower patterns and gold trim. Stamp on the compote can date that piece all the way to 1902. In great shape with only light wear to gold around the base (pictured). No chips or cracks, measurements are 6” across top of compote, 4.5” tall, and 7.5” across the plate.
