This is a vintage split bamboo, round bowl-shaped basket. It has a burnt/tortoise finish. There is a sticker on the bottom stating, Made in the People's Republic of China . There is a slight sheen to the outside, and the inside is dull. There are signs of wear and use, and is in good vintage condition. It has been in my posession since the 1990s. It would be great used as a fruit bowl or for a number of other storage possibilities as it is quite sturdy.
