Gerz West German Lidden Stein 3D Alpenblume Floral Ltd Ed 1986. Marked number 7,686 of 10,000. Beautiful coloring and design. Handpainted. Measures approx. 6 inches tall and weighs just under 2 lbs. Comes with original certificate of authenticity.
There is a thin crack in the handle (pictured). Crack does not appear to be repaired. I believe these were designed more as a collectible for display. If using the stein, the crack does not appear to affect use - handle seems sturdy - but use over time would likely change that and crack would need some repair to stay strong. Otherwise, stein is in very good condition, no other chips or cracks noted.
