These bookends are made of solid white onyx and weight ~ 7lbs 3oz together. They stand just under 6 tall, and measure just over 3 wide at the bases. Both bookends have large chips out of the top left corners (pictured but very hard to pick up on camera) and some very small chips along the bottom outside edge. There are no cracks that I can see, and both pieces look great on a shelf, especially with light showing through.
