A gorgeous vintage souvenir plate of the Hawaiian Islands done in the ancient art of Chokin. Gilded with gold and silver engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the samurai warriors. This porcelain plate decorated with lots of 24KT gold features the islands of Kauai, Hawaii, Oahu, Lanai, Molokai, Maui and Hawaii. The center of the plate showcases an ocean scene with an island in the background. A beautiful Hawaiian dancer is performing on the beach surrounded by tall palm trees, a beautiful plumeria flower, some pineapple and dolphins jumping out of the ocean. The other edge of the plate says Hawaii with a flower after the work. The inside trim says Oahu, Kauai, Niihau, Hawaii, Hawaii, Maui, Kahoolawe, Lanai and Molokai. This piece is in great vintage condition. No chips, nicks or scratches. Measures 7 3/4 inches would make a great gift for a future Hawaii traveler. Note plate stand not included. Non smoking pet free home.
