An impressive Vauxhall glass necklace that was made circa 1880s when black was very much in fashion due to Queen Victoria’s husband Prince Albert’s death. Vauxhall glass is often called French jet but is shinier and tougher than jet and equally appealing when worn.
Necklace measures an impressive 36.25” long with multi faceted smooth and rough cut Vauxhall beads measuring between 2.4mm and 17.4mm wide.
