The RARE bust was commissioned to be presentedin May of 1965 (maing it 60 years old in 2025) by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and presented at their 65th Anniversary during their convention from May 12-20, 1965. There were It's 9 inches tall, but heavy for its size. A very unique and interesting award to be given to the Lady's Garment Workers Union. It was given 1 year and 6 months after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
