AN ANTIQUE, CAST METAL---WITH A GILT FINISH---ART NOUVEAU STYLE, TRINKET, OR JEWELRY BOX. IT WAS PRODUCED IN THE EARLY 1900's BY THE WEIDLICH BROS. MFG., CO., BRIDGEPORT, CONN., WHICH WAS FOUNDED IN 1901.
THIS TRINKET/JEWELRY BOX MEASURES 3 1/2 INCHES SQUARE, WITH ITS PROTRUDING CABRIOLE FEET ON THE BASE AND ITS ORNATE PROTRUDING HINGE ON THE BACK OF THE LID AND LIFT 'HANDLE' ON THE FRONT. IT MEASURES 3 INCHES HIGH.
