Charming little jewelry box from around the 1960's. The wind up mechanism plays Around the World in 80 days the theme song from the 1956 movie. When wound and you open the box the ballerina turns in front of the oval mirror as the music plays. The lining is blue velvet. It has 2 larger compartments a the bottom and the small 4 compartment one that lifts when open. Colorful hand painted flowers on all sides and top. The cover material is simulated leather in white. It measures 9 L X 4 3/4 D X 3 1/2 H. Good condition. The exterior shows wear mostly along the edges and corners. The lining is very clean, no stains just a tiny bit of lint. Tarnished lock.
