This is a brand new rod and reel combination for catching bait. The rod is designed to hold the gold Sabiki hooks inside the rod to prevent having the hooks catch your hands. The SB6 model is only 6 foot total length and is designed to be used on small boats, kayaks, etc. where space is a premium. The model SB7 is made for use on inshore and offshore boats with a 7 foot total length. The Mul10 reel comes with 180 yds of 10 lb mono line preloaded. The Mul10 reel is a spin cast reel which is very simple in operation. You press the large back button the release the line, and turn the handle to bring the line back in. The cost of this unit is for only one of them, either the SB6 or the SB7, and not both.
The rod nose is designed to hold from size 4 through 10 Sabiki rigs. Since the hooks are not standard size, some size 12, and even 14 hooks may work in the rod. You have to test the rigs.
