Mickey is embroidered directly onto the jacket so wont fade or crack like iron-ons can, and will last the life of the jacket.
The hood, with its snap-down rim to keep out spring showers, has a madras lining, as does the flap over the horizontal zipper on the front of the jacket.
There are two snaps to keep the flap in place, two additional snaps by the neckline which help keep wind and rain from penetrating the jacket, a drawstring with leather cord stops to pull the hood tight and another drawstring with a metal cord stop at the bottom of the jacket to help cut down on drafts.
