Always use coarse ground coffee
Stir before pressing down, using plastic or wooden spoon; not metal
Before pressing down, ensure that the safety lid is in the correct position
Press down gently
Make sure to clean the coffee grounds stick in the filter after every use. This will help your next coffee taste as good as the one before
