The gold parts at both ends and the dot pattern clearly show the golden cocoon silk characteristic of Muga silk.
There are some weaving flaws in the middle part and near the edges.
These were present from the time of purchase, so it is likely due to the natural nature of wild silk.
It is difficult to capture the true color. Please consider purchasing if you are not particular about subtle color variations.

Silk thread made from golden cocoons spun by wild silkworms native to the Indo-Assam region.
They eat magnolia and magnolia leaves to spin golden cocoons.
Golden cocoons are only harvested for a short period of the year, making them rare and expensive, hence the name Golden Silk.
