Yes , there are genuine pearls ! Cultured of course. These do not appear to be dyed which would make them Tahitian pearls. Pearls measure about 13mm in diameter, with a 22 inch length. Knotted in between and finished with a sterling silver jumbo spring ring clasp stamped 925 and OP. OP stands for “ ocean pearls”. These are not even in texture , color or shape , which is another indicator of genuine pearls. It’s illegal to hunt for 100% natural Tahitian pearls so all are cultured from various pearl farms in the area. These have a beautiful darker black peacock color finish to them. Darker than any other strands I have at the moment. Yes , these have the grit . I’m no pearl expert but I learn more everyday and these are genuine pearls. 925
