Carved Wooden Chess Set With Carrier Handle With Writing “Labadee” And “Haiti”. Condition is Used .
Assuming it was made in Haiti but not sure. It closes tight and carries fine.
Beautiful, sturdy chess set and all 32 pieces inside.
Dimensions are 13.5” x 11” x 5.25”. This is measured from outside foot to outside foot. Chess box itself is 12 x 9 .
The weight is right under 4 pounds with the pieces bubble wrapped inside.
Not sure of the kind of wood but it’s impressive.
All other imperfections are seen in the provided pics. Corner by Labadee has a split. The split is still held tight to the board.
