This variety is a hybrid of Guanxi Honey pomelo and Anjiang Fragrant pomelo, originally named Honey King pomelo. The fruit has a golden-yellow, relatively smooth peel that is thin and emits a light fragrance. Each fruit weighs about 1.5 kg, with larger fruits reaching up to 2 kg. The flesh is white with a slight red tint, few seeds, and is soft and juicy. It is sweet without being sour, with a sugar content of up to 14 degrees (superior to Guanxi Honey Pomelo). The fruit is refreshing with no bitter or numbing aftertaste, and is of excellent quality. It typically matures in mid-October, but also has a good flavor by mid-September. The fruit can be stored at room temperature for about 100 days.
