Inspired by an old world-eastern European family, who for almost 200 years had been painting beautiful miniature lacquered paper- mâché boxes, inlaid with mother of pearl. It took years of perfecting this technique to establish this new and innovative form of painting that G. Debrekht now proudly presents in exclusive glass ornaments. They are made, as in the old days- from 1.5 mm glass, silver powdered from the inside and then sandblasted from the outside. The combination of colors and the multi-layer painting techniques create a deep iridescent effect.
