This is a RARE copy of the Phillies Records PHLP 4007 LP 'You've lost that Lovin Feelin by the Righteous Brothers.
While the front bottom of Jacket has PHLP-4007 the back has ST-90692 . Record label states as follows; STEREO ST-90692 mfd. by Capitol records inc. USA but bottom of label Philles Records Division of Phil Spector Productions.
FIRST THIS LP WAS ONLY PRESSED AND DISTRIBUTED THRU THE CAPITOL RECORD CLUB!
This is just another example how greedy Phil Spector found legal ways to cut his artists out of .
I was in my Freshman year 1964 at PSU when this record massively broke. Spector wanted to cut the R-Bros out of some of the so he made a contract with Capitol to press and distribute LP's thru the Capitol Record Club front. As a result all royalities for the Capitol pressing legally went solely to Spector. No wonder why the Righteous Bros. left for VERVE ASAP,
Both the vinyl and Jacket are in VG+ condition. Not too many of these still exist in this condition.
