The Ji Zhou leaf tea bowls were only found from the Song Dynasty in China. Only until the 90s, studios in China could reproduce these unique, beautiful, one of a kind tea bowls. These type of ceramic bowls are very difficult to make and the failure rates are very high. Each bowl was produced by putting a real specially treated tree leaf in the black glazed bowl and burned in the kiln. The tree leaf burned off and leaves the shape in the glaze.
These are rare items! There are 4 sets of 3-Piece nested bowls, i.e., 12 bowls in total ! All in perfect conditions no damage.
